Meme Lord
So, for my 4th project with Flatiron, I decided to do a website where you can find and create your own memes. You can comment on each meme as well!
JS has defiantly been harder to learn than Rails, but I think I have started to get the hang of it! I do have to say this project was easier than the last since the relationships weren’t so specific with what we could do.
I found the most difficult part getting the backend and frontend to work properly together, but after a lot fo refactoring I figured it out. I found with JS I have gotten a lot better at searching for specific things online to get what I needed from my code. I also had a great friend who mainly works with JS that was willing to help me out when I got stuck and frustrated.
I realized that it is so helpful to get help from others and I actually learn a lot from doing it. JS has been fun but I am so stoked to be starting react.
If you want a laugh, go check out my Meme Lord project on github;)
